Job Location: 4800 San Antonio, TX
Work days/Shift Hours: Start time 5:00 PM. Rotating 4-4-5 schedule. Work days - Sunday night through Friday night, rotate through 2 weeks of a 4 day work week, then into a 5 day work week.
Additional Relevant Information: CDL Class A required
Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $24.52 to $30.46 per hour, based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
General Purpose
Responsible for driving and delivering pre-ordered product to assigned accounts on specified routes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Check accuracy and stability of the load.
- Deliver product to customer.
- Operate industrial vehicles and equipment.
- Invoice and collect monies due.
- Move, lift and load product and company property.
- Secure company assets.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
- Settle all accounts daily.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Class-A Commercial Drivers License issued by only one state or jurisdiction with NO INTERSTATE RESTRICTIONS, in accordance with FMSCA guidelines minimum age requirement is 21 years old
- 1 to 3 years of general work experience required.
- 1 plus years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Prior grocery store and/or consumer products is a plus.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to operate a two or four wheeled hand-truck.
- Ability to operate all types of industrial power trucks.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations.
- Clean driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
