Job Title: Director, Software Engineering
Location: Remote – Must reside in USA
Candidates within commutable distance to our Oregon, Indiana, New York, or Virginia office locations will need to work a hybrid schedule and report onsite 2x a week.
About This Role:
We are seeking a highly responsible and detail-oriented Director, Software Engineer with strong expertise in front-end development and a solid understanding of modern web application architecture. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership and team management responsibilities.
The position focuses on maintaining and enhancing an established codebase, prioritizing stability, reliability, and thoughtful evolution over rapid adoption of new frameworks or patterns.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working within existing technical constraints, values clean and maintainable code, and proactively identifies potential issues before they impact users.
