Investor Service Department (ISD) is the division within Computershare HK responsible for answering shareholders’ / individual employee share plan holders’ enquiries over the phone, and referring any enquiries and complaints to relevant departments to solve their problems.
An exciting new opportunity has recently opened under ISD department.
A role you will love
The Investor Service officer is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of high-quality customer service to shareholders’ and investors, ensuring that the day-to-day resolution of queries are responded to accurately and with agreed timeframes.
The officer will work closely with different departments, such as processing team, claims teams and corporate operations teams to ensure all client activity is actioned and reviewed to provide the appropriate services to the callers and meet our service delivery levels.
In addition, the officer will also be required to escalate / forwards the enquiries and complaints to relevant departments in a timely manner. Some enquiries related to stock trading are time critical, any delay in report will cause monetary loss.
Some other key accountabilities will include:
• Manage large volumes of walk-in shareholders, addressing customer inquiries and complaints while adhering to the quality of standards.
• Document registration and counter services are the main job duties for the role.
• Take customer enquiries and provide accurate, satisfactory answers to their queries and concerns.
• Collaborate with other colleagues to improve customer service.
• Meet performance targets such as customer satisfaction rate.
• Escalate potential issues/complaints in timely manner.
What will you bring to the role?
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent representation and interpersonal skills with patience and willingness to listen to the concerns and questions raised by the callers; good time management and collaboration skills; a good understanding of financial knowledge in HK, as well as corporate secretarial knowledge for corporate holders and stock trading knowledge for employee share plan participants.
Some other key skills required for the role:
• University graduate with bachelor’s degree (or above) in business related discipline.
• 1-2 years working experience on financial market, banking sectors, corporate secretarial or customer services.
• Great active listening skills.
• In-depth knowledge in securities industry.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Adaptability and flexibility.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
