With the recent launch of Computershare’s Investor Engagement business there is an opportunity to join the sales team to drive business growth and frontier sales.

Computershare Investor Engagement helps clients uncover critical insights into shareholders, allowing clients to engage with purpose and share outcomes with confidence. The services include insight into Investor Intelligence, Investor Relations and advisory services regarding M&A and proxy events. 
The New Business Development Director for Investor Engagement is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced business developer to drive business growth in our French market and other European markets as required! 

If you have a proven track record of new business sales, driving client engagement and knowledge of the investor engagement, or adjacent, industries, then this may be a fit for you!

A role you will love


The New Business Development Director will play a key role in promoting the Investor Engagement value proposition to both existing Computershare clients and new-to-firm prospects, driving collaboration between service lines and ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience.


This role will be responsible for driving growth by both leveraging existing business relationships, and prospecting new clients and will require regular travel. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced salesperson to position the recently launched Investor Engagement business. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities across our product suite, Investor Relations, Investor engagement, and advisory. 
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, including qualification, proposal development and negotiation. 
  • Build strategic relationships across the market through industry events and identifying cross-sell opportunities.
  • Keep up to date with market trends, and provide feedback to leadership to inform product development, and go to market strategy.

 What will you bring to the role


As an integral part of the Investor Engagement sales team, you will have significant sales, business development, or client acquisition experience within the financial or professional services industry. You will have a proven track record of achieving sales, and revenue targets with a strong understanding of the investor engagement industry or capital markets. 
 

Key and desirable experience: 

  • Strong industry knowledge, and network would be highly beneficial
  • Experience selling advisory services/solutions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM’s 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or finance would be advantageous
