Computershare is looking for someone who is looking for a technical position to join our growing team at Global Core Operations Team as an Employee Equity Plans Specialist.

The Employee Equity Plan Specialist role operates within this division at a regional level and must perform their tasks within defined service delivery guidelines. The guidelines include successful delivery within agreed timeframes and quality standards. 

The Employee Equity Plan Specialist is also expected to work collaboratively across teams both within the same department and other internal CPU partners, supporting continuous improvement and project related activity related to the role.

A role you will love

As an EEP Specialist, you will be responsible for processing Employee Equity Plans transactions for Discretionary & Contributory Employee Plans based upon client requirements in a timely and accurate manner. Employee Plans transactions include Stock Options purchases / sales, related issuances, ESPP Purchases/Allocations, etc.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for the structured planning, execution and monitoring of tasks and timely completion of all processes assigned to you in line with agreed SLA.  These tasks include but are not limited to:
    • Timely and accurate processing of scheduled client events such as Vestings, Purchases, Dividends, etc.
    • Create/Maintain detailed task lists for client events to ensure accurate & consistent delivery of service.
    • Coordinate with internal partners to ensure events are processed in line with client expectations
    • Timely and accurate processing of daily activity such as client/internal wires, share movements, reconciliations, etc.
  • Gain and maintain a strong technical knowledge of all aspects of assigned role responsibilities on EquatePlus platform including but not limited to core role functionality, reporting, file creation, and basic SQL queries.
  • Support team management in streamlining operational processes on EquatePlus, identifying ongoing opportunities for process improvement, and ensuring we maintain strict operational discipline with maintaining high levels of quality in BAU work.
  • Solve a wide variety of complex customer queries and system demands providing exceptionally high standards of customer service as the subject matter expert in all aspects of assigned role responsibilities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advance level knowledge/use of Microsoft Excel required
  • SQL Experience is preferred
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated.
  • Strong attention to detail
