Our caregivers build a partnership in care that allows our clients to live an active and engaged lifestyle.

Open positions:

Full-time, part-time, live-in, daytime hourly and overnight hourly shifts available.

Locations:

Manhattan; Brooklyn; Westchester County, NY; Fairfield County, CT; and surrounding areas

Rates:

Hourly starting at $24 
Live-in starting at $340 per day
Overtime and holiday pay applies.

QualificationsOur caregivers are empathetic, kind, and compassionate. They are passionate about caring for older adults and about helping our clients stay active and engaged. Our caregivers are curious and are always eager to learn more about our clients and about how to provide top level care. 

Requirements:

Authorized to work in the US
Fully vaccinated for COVID-19
At least two (2) years of experience in Home Care with the Elderly (One-On-One care)
Well-spoken, with strong communication skills and excellent client service skills
HHA, CNA, PCA, or PCT Certification 
CPR Certification preferred; must be willing to be certified before starting to work on a case
Kind, Optimistic, Curious, Empathetic, Dependable and professional
Passionate about working with older adults

What Our Caregivers Do:

The care that we provide starts with a customized care plan that has been created to meet the specific needs of the client. Our caregivers build a strong relationship with the client to learn how to go above and beyond, providing care well beyond the care plan that has been provided.

Our caregivers work in partnership with the CompassCare Client Team and Office Staff to provide the best possible care for each client.

Responsibilities:

Provide concierge level care, including enrichment activities, outings, and more
Provide companionship and engagement
Provide light housekeeping & meal preparation
Follow a detailed care plan
Complete reporting to be shared with the Care Team
Assist with personal care
Provide transportation and accompany client to appointments
