About the Role
We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our overnight emergency team. This role is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting critical patients and the teams caring for them during overnight hours.
What You’ll Do
Assist veterinarians and technicians with emergency exams, treatments, diagnostics, and procedures
Safely handle and restrain patients, including those that are critical or unstable
Monitor hospitalized patients and report changes promptly
Prepare, clean, and maintain treatment areas, cages, and equipment while supporting overall hospital organization
What We’re Looking For
Previous veterinary assistant or animal care experience preferred (emergency experience a plus)
Comfortable working overnight shifts and rotating weekends
Ability to remain calm, focused, and adaptable in high-stress situations
Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
Dependable, compassionate, and eager to learn
