Job Summary 

This Radiology Tech is a multimodality role responsible for obtaining radiographic images and operating equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established protocols.  This role collaborates with healthcare professionals to deliver efficient and effective patient care, ensuring safety, accuracy, and patient comfort. 

Schedule: Full-Time, Weekends; Fri, Sat & Sun 3/12's

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of clinical experience acquired through an accredited radiologic sciences program required
  • 2-4 years of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist in an acute care hospital setting preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state required
  • (R) ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer preferred
  • CT - Computed Tomography certification or eligibility to obtain within six (6) months of hire required
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining radiology and CT equipment.
  • Knowledge of radiographic techniques, anatomy, and positioning.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Understanding of radiation safety and infection control protocols.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate imaging and documentation.
