The Senior Privacy Analyst is responsible for assisting with the monitoring and investigation of patient privacy-related issues. In this role, you will run and analyze reports to identify potential concerns, conduct comprehensive privacy investigations, and serve as a knowledgeable resource for compliance and privacy-related questions.
Your exceptional skills and qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required
Certification or licensure in healthcare, privacy or information systems preferred
Two-plus (2+) years of experience in healthcare or privacy required
Demonstrated knowledge of pertinent federal and state laws related to healthcare and ability to comprehend regulatory matters
Proven ability to function independently and exercise judgment in accordance with program goals and objectives
Strong working knowledge of data analysis, including analyzing relevant information and preparing reports
Team oriented and customer focused; performs at a level requiring minimal direct supervision; ability to work in a remote environment
Excellent communication, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
Extensive knowledge and understanding of complex health care systems
Knowledge of and experience in information privacy, access, and release of information laws
Additional Information
The role is more privacy related than IT or Legal. Conduct privacy-related investigations from beginning to end which includes conducting interviews and ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
While this position is fully remote, you must live in IN, IL, MI, OH, KY, TX or FL to be eligible for hire.
