Join Community
Community Health Network was created by our neighbors, for our neighbors. Over 60 years later, “community” is still the heart of our organization. It means providing our neighbors with the best care possible, backed by state-of-the-art technology. It means getting involved in the communities we serve through volunteer opportunities and benefits initiatives. It means ensuring our dedicated caregivers can learn and grow to stay at the top of their fields and to better serve our patients. And above all, it means exceptional care, simply delivered — and we couldn’t do it without you.
Make a Difference
Community East Hospital has an excellent opportunity available for a part-time LPN within our Telemetry Medical Surgical (TMS) unit. The TMS Unit is a mixed Medical Surgical Unit with a 20-bed capacity. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and collaborates with the RN on the plan of care. The LPN directs patient care which can include assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and phlebotomy. The LPN may also provide indirect care which may include order transcription, documentation, and reinforcement of patient and family education. The LPN collaborates with other team members to perform other unit services as directed.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Community Health Network was created 60 years ago by our neighbors, for our neighbors. We've never forgotten that heritage. To this day, we're still locally based and locally controlled, and we're as closely tied to our communities as ever.
As a non-profit health system with more than 200 sites of care and affiliates throughout Central Indiana, Community’s full continuum of care integrates hundreds of physicians, specialty and acute care hospitals, surgery centers, home care services, MedChecks, behavioral health and employer health services.
At Community Health Network, we build teams that deliver exceptional care through empathy, communication, and collaboration. Caregivers play a vital role in our mission as they fulfill our PRIIDE values: Patients First. Relationships. Integrity. Inclusion. Diversity. Excellence.
Exceptional Care - For Everyone
We want to ensure that each patient, employee, physician, and volunteer feels welcomed, comfortable, and included in our environment at all times.
