Community North Behavioral Health Senior Adult Unit has a part-time LPN opportunity available. The Behavioral Health Senior Adult Unit provides true compassionate care to our most vulnerable population.  Providing stability in their lives while dealing with all different types of mental health disorders and dementia. Join a veteran team who truly cares for the wellness of geriatric patients. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and collaborates with the RN on the plan of care. The LPN directs patient care which can include assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and phlebotomy. The LPN may also provide indirect care which may include order transcription, documentation, and reinforcement of patient and family education. The LPN collaborates with other team members to perform other unit services as directed.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

  • Graduate of a recognized accredited school of practical nursing, or Graduate from a non-accredited school of practical nursing with three years related professional nursing experience.
  • Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency.
