Make a Difference

The Registered Nurse will provide clinical leadership and coordination for the ENT Care Allergy Program. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and evaluation of patient care and facilitation of a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to maintain high quality and evidence based care. Essential functions include: Oversees all aspects of the Allergy Program including testing, compounding, patient education and immunotherapy. Lead and mentor to clinical staff including assisting in hiring, orientation, coaching and education. Develops and maintains the Allergy Program protocols and procedures. Oversees and participates in all patient care within the Allergy Program including triage, patient education, medication refills, patient treatment plans, allergy testing, medication compounding, and immunotherapy. Maintains the Allergy Program inventory and ordering of supplies. Completes and maintains safety audits for Allergy Program compliance. Implements performance improvement and quality initiatives. Subject matter expert on EHR updates, new equipment, clinical workflows, and allergy nursing. The office is located on the north side in Noblesville, Indiana and the nurse will work onsite.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

-Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.

-Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

-Two years or more of nursing experience required.

-Allergy experience preferred. 

-Previous medical office/outpatient experience preferred. 

-Phone triage experience highly preferred.

-Computer/typing skills required.

-Excellent communication skills.

-Excellent team skills.

-Compassionate and caring.

-Accountable and self-directed.

-EPIC experience a plus.
