Job Description: The Healthy Pantry Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Community Health Alliance’s Healthy Prescription Food Pantry. This role plays a critical part in supporting patients with food insecurity through healthy food access, coordinating volunteer efforts, and collaborating with internal departments and community partners. The ideal candidate is self-directed, organized, and able to perform physical tasks while delivering exemplary customer service and community engagement.

QualificationsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of basic administrative and healthcare office functions.
· Familiarity with community-based food and health services.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
· Ability to use electronic health records (eClinicalWorks preferred).
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and inventory management.
· Physical ability to lift 40–60 lbs regularly, bend, reach, push, and pull.
· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Commitment to cultural sensitivity and serving diverse populations.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
· Bilingual ability is a plus.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
· Preferred education in Community Health Science, Public Health, Nutrition, or Communications.
· Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office, food security program, or community health setting.
· Experience coordinating volunteers and community-based services is strongly preferred.
· Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. A clean driving record and reliable transportation for community-based activities and inter-site travel is required.
