Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at our 20-room boutique hotel. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation, delivering a warm and personalized experience for each guest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to hotel standards.
• Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and restock guest amenities.
• Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and clean windows and mirrors.
• Inspect rooms for maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored safely.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor when interacting with guests.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Assist with laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
• Uphold confidentiality and security of guest information and hotel property.
• Support the small-team environment by assisting colleagues when needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, especially in hotels or hospitality.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.

Physical Requirements:

• Exert physical effort in lifting/transporting at least 25 pounds.
• Push/pull carts and other equipment up to 100 pounds.
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity.
• Work environment-all areas of the hotel, surf park, and restaurant. This job involves working under variable temperature conditions and noise levels, in indoor and outdoor settings.
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for lengthy periods of time.
