Do Work That Matters

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Banker who thrives on business development, transactional banking, and new client acquisition across the Education sector. You’ll partner with Business Managers, Finance Managers, Principals, Boards and executive leaders to provide meaningful, end‑to‑end banking solutions for organisations with complex transactional, lending and cash‑management needs.

Offer your insights, experience, and expertise, along with a leading suite of transactional banking, cash management, payment solutions, and lending products. This will enable education providers to invest in their communities, enhance student experiences, and achieve long-term impact.

You’ll join a collaborative team of Specialised Relationship Executives, Account Managers, Senior Associates and Analysts—all committed to exceptional service and sustainable growth.

Our ambition is to be the Main Financial Institution (MFI) for education clients in our target market of organisations with $30m–$150m turnover or commercial lending needs of $10m–$50m. We deliver a full spectrum of solutions, including:

  • Transactional banking and cash‑management solutions
  • Payments, merchant and receivables optimisation
  • Working capital, term debt and multi‑facility lending
  • Investment, risk management and digital banking tools
     

We’re interested in hearing from people who:

  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders (Business Managers, Finance Managers, Boards, Principals) and drive new‑to‑bank growth
  • Have deep experience in transactional banking, including cash‑management, payments, accounts, receivables and treasury flows
  • Understand how schools and education providers operate from a transactional, operational and financial‑governance perspective
  • Have proven success leading Commercial/Corporate portfolios with lending above $10m
  • Are highly skilled in origination, structuring and negotiation of complex multi‑facility solutions
  • Leverage networks and referral partners (industry associations, advisors, peak bodies) to uncover opportunities
  • Collaborate with product and credit partners to deliver end‑to‑end, sector‑relevant solutions (including Transactional Banking and working‑capital optimisation)
  • Are comfortable with financial analysis and credit decisioning, including understanding of cash‑flow drivers, covenants and project economics
  • (Nice to have) Understand education funding models (government, fee‑based and philanthropic), governance for not‑for‑profits, and capital project financing
