About the Team
Our Business Banking division supports over 10,000 medium to large Australian businesses, typically with turnovers between $30m–$150m. We focus on deeply understanding our clients’ needs and delivering tailored financial solutions that drive long‑term growth.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst with strong business banking credit writing capability to join our CB150 Diversified team in Sydney, based near the iconic Darling Harbour and at our state‑of‑the‑art CommBank HQ.
In this role, you’ll work across a broad and diverse portfolio, gaining meaningful exposure to large, complex transactions across a wide range of industries.
What You will Do
Conduct financial modelling, cashflow assessment, and detailed risk analysis.
Prepare high‑quality credit submissions and support end‑to‑end deal execution.
Monitor portfolio performance, annual reviews, reporting, and compliance.
Partner closely with Relationship Managers to develop deep industry and client insights.
What We are Looking For
We’re a high‑performing, client‑focused team seeking someone who brings:
Strong credit‑writing experience in Commercial or Business Banking - Essential.
Solid grounding in financial analysis, risk assessment, and transaction structuring.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders.
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, or Commerce (preferred).
