Responsibilities
What Will I Do?
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and expand market share
- Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to ensure optimal performance and productivity
- Set sales targets and closely monitor performance, providing guidance and support to team members as needed
- Identify new business opportunities and markets to drive growth and increase revenue
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Work with leadership to develop pricing strategies to maximize profitability
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align sales efforts with overall company objectives
- Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and market trends to ensure a competitive edge
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on sales performance, forecasts, and strategies for management review
Qualifications
Do I Have What It Takes?
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field highly desired
- 3+ years proven experience in sales management, with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets
- Extensive understanding of B to C sales specific to HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Solid understanding of sales techniques, principles, and practices
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
- Flexibility to travel as needed
