Line Cook II (Full-Time) | Bell Harbor International Conference Center

 

Create menu magic and make hungry people happy. Showcase your skills by providing daily preparation requirements while working together with the culinary team to ensure quality and constancy of food items. Line Cook II is responsible for reading and interpreting recipes, conducting inventory and adhering to standards for sanitation and safe food handling procedures. You will be working with a small team and lead cook.  Shift hours are usually range from 9am to 8 pm, flexibility with scheduled start time is needed, depending on daily business.  Looking for a person with work ethic and drive to complete tasks.  This person should have a basic knowledge of culinary operations, and have some experience.  Training will be available on the job.

What you’ll do:

The Nitty Gritty

  • Previous cooking experience required
  • Necessary State Food Handler’s License(s)
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
  • Must possess knife skills, the ability to adjust preparations for flavor, and accommodate customer’s needs in a timely manner.

Seattle's premier waterfront conference venue features 18 meeting rooms totaling 100,000 square feet with capacity for up to 6,000 guests. Bell Harbor is a member of the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC), ensuring a superior meeting experience with state-of-the-art audiovisual, Herman Miller chairs made for comfort, and well-lit meeting space.

Additional venues offered via the Bell Harbor sales team include Smith Cove Cruise Terminal located on Seattle's Magnolia waterfront with over 96,000 square feet of event space perfect for trade shows and large events, and directly adjacent to Bell Harbor the Maritime Event Center, a less traditional space that adds a nautical-themed backdrop to weddings and social events.
