What you’ll do:
The Brass Tacks
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure all work practices meet or exceed established standards.
Participate in the preparation of annual operating budgets and financial plans that support overall property objectives.
Establish and maintain budgeted supply and labor costs for Food & Beverage operations.
Conduct industry research to accurately project future trends and operational needs.
Partner with the Executive Chef on menu planning, pricing, and preparation.
Ensure the security of all F&B supplies, equipment, and inventory by establishing and enforcing security standards.
Partner with Columbia Hospitality to coordinate and execute pre-opening activities prior to hotel openings.
Maintain regular communication across departments to ensure all staff are informed of updates, changes, and operational needs.
Communicate with Food & Beverage Managers during service to ensure client and guest satisfaction.
Conduct frequent inspections of dining, kitchen, and storage areas to ensure all activities meet or exceed established standards.
Report unsafe conditions immediately and ensure all equipment is properly maintained, functional, and used as intended.
Participate in the property’s Manager on Duty program as needed.
Ensure timely, courteous follow-through on all client, guest, and team member requests.
Select, supervise, train, develop, schedule, discipline, and counsel staff while demonstrating leadership that empowers and inspires teams to achieve high standards.
Provide timely and formal assessments of individual team members in accordance with performance review policies and procedures.
Perform in the capacity of any supervised position as needed (based on qualifications).
Conduct and oversee training on job standards and areas of responsibility as required.
Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned by management to support departmental and organizational goals.
