Busser | Woven Seafood & Chophouse

 

As a Busser, you are vital to the daily operation of our restaurant. Helping drive quick table turns, maintaining a clean and organized dining room, and ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience. You must exude a high level of hospitality and take pride in being part of a strong, service-focused team. Bussers directly support servers and managers by assisting with a variety of tasks that keep the restaurant running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and is eager to learn and grow within the service industry.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Breaking down, cleaning, and resetting tables promptly and efficiently

  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the dining room and service areas

  • Restocking supplies and assisting with side work as needed

  • Supporting and assisting servers during service to ensure smooth flow and timely table turns

  • Greeting guests warmly and contributing to a welcoming, polished atmosphere

  • Assisting in creating memorable guest experiences through attentiveness and hospitality

  • Acting as a menu tour guide when appropriate and gaining knowledge of menu items

  • Learning and adhering to food safety standards and allergy awareness procedures

  • Communicating effectively with servers, managers, and kitchen team

This position offers a hands-on experience in hospitality, service standards, and guest engagement—making it a great steppingstone for growth within the restaurant!

What you’ll do:

  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Current State Food Handler’s License(s)
  • Ability to transport 30 lb. and be in contact motion during shift

Where you'll work:
Woven is concepted by Roy Yamaguchi, an esteemed Hawaiian restaurateur who is known as the creator of Hawaiian fusion cuisine. Woven has been crafted to represent the fusion of ideas and blended cuisine with the center goal of bringing people together around food. The three threads within the design pay homage to the Puyallup, Hawaiian, and Japanese culture that will be present and “threaded” throughout the design and cuisine. The restaurant will emphasize a modern and blended twist on steak and seafood across the menu.
