About this role

Admin Assistants play a pivotal role at Columbia Distributing, and play a key part in the success of the overall business. They wear many hats, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Produce correspondence, reports, meeting notes, lists and other business communications in a timely, accurate and confidential manner
  • Support the sales team by assisting with incentive reporting
  • Assist with AP/AR invoice processing, employee expense report review and submission
  • Timekeeping review and temp labor hours reporting
  • Conduct data compilation, analysis and depiction
  • Maintain administration files and filing system, ensuring that all documents are filed in a neat, orderly and accurate manner and archiving of out-of-date files
  • Receive and distribute mail to appropriate team members
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company's Core Values at all times
  • Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned

Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Typically working hours are Monday -- Friday, between 8am and 5pm.

Travel

Local travel only

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Minimum of 18 years of age

Preferred Education and Experience

  • One (1) year of administrative/receptionist experience

 

Compensation

  • Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
  • Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Employees are also eligible for 80 hours of vacation every year and 7-8 days of paid holidays throughout the calendar year (depending on location).
