Reporting to the Engineering Manager this position is responsible for the technical support on all engineering projects. This position will conceptualize, develop, and assist in the implementation of new projects.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities

Determine scope and details for projects to achieve company goals
Provide cost and timing estimations
Coordinate and execute implementation of design and projects
Provide engineering support to various departments
Maintain and manage facility and engineering documentation

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Required Skills/Abilities

Strong polymer and polymer processing knowledge preferred
Advanced PC Skills including proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and CAD
Superior time management & organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
A thorough knowledge in root cause analysis is essential, supported by advanced knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics
Educated in the methods of measurement systems preferred

Education and Experience

B.S. degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, preferably in Manufacturing or Industrial disciplines.  Exceptions will be made when practical experience exists and performance in a prior technical position has been demonstrated

2-4 years engineering experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
