Job Description

Position Summary

This position is for the Program Manager of Colorado State University's NIH-funded U19 award – Burkina Faso ICEMR in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Pathology supervised by professor Brian Foy.

Essential Job Duties

  • Organize weekly ICEMR meetings/schedules and conferences.
  • Organizing the MS Team site and Burkina Faso ICEMR website.
  • Coordinate interactions between US and Burkina Faso entities including with the Burkina Ministry of Health and Malaria control program.
  • Participate in training, paper writing, and data management and analysis of the research we are doing on each ICEMR project.

Supervision

This position does not supervise.

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience in malaria research and policy.
  • Ability/experience to assist in managing a large grant or contract from the NIH or similar organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on malaria.
  • Experience in writing and editing research and malaria policy manuscripts.
  • Fluency in French

Salary Range

$20-60/hour.
