About the role 

 

Reporting into the Head of Dairy Sourcing, you will help shape the Dairy Direct Sourcing strategy, building a resilient, category aligned and efficient dairy supply chain.

 

 

This role is responsible for shaping and executing initiatives that strengthen farmer partnerships, drive sustainability outcomes, and ensure resilient milk supply relationships. The role also leads project planning and budgeting, with clear tracking, reporting, and governance to ensure delivery against business objectives.

 

 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Leading the strategic agenda for Coles’ Sustainable Dairy Development Group and ensure it aligns to broader business strategy.
  • Collaborating with Business Unit teams to develop plans that deliver strong customer value, commercial performance, and long‑term supply resilience.
  • Managing supplier relationships to ensure cost efficiency, revenue optimisation, and effective inventory control while supporting sustainable farming practices.

 

 

About your skills 

 

  • Proven experience in agricultural sourcing, supply chain management, or sustainability management
  • Demonstrated capability in working with farmers or suppliers to improve commercial and environmental outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing and collaborating across diverse internal and external groups.
  • Ability to work with agility and demonstrate leadership in a dynamic and evolving landscape.
