Love shaping product ranges and driving growth? As our Category Manager, you’ll take the lead on category performance for QuiteLike meal subscriptions - forecasting demand, building strategies for ready-to-heat products, and expanding our extended range ‘top-ups’. You’ll play a key role in improving customer experience, boosting retention, and supporting the Coles Commercial team on growth initiatives as required.
This role reports to the Commercial Lead and is based in Melbourne. You’ll collaborate with culinary, sourcing, supply chain, and digital product teams, as well as suppliers and Coles BU category teams, to deliver plans that delight customers and hit commercial targets.
You’re a commercial thinker with a passion for products and a knack for turning insights into action. You thrive in fast-paced environments, love solving problems, and know how to balance strategy with hands-on execution.
You’ll also bring:
5+ years in category management, commercial trading, or similar roles within FMCG, retail, or e-commerce.
Experience in demand forecasting and inventory planning.
Proven ability to manage category growth strategies and extended range development.
Strong project management skills with experience launching new propositions.
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
