Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as Verification Lead in new product development projects.
- Define the product verification program based on product requirements and project phase.
- Plan and execute the verification program in alignment with the project timeline.
- Specify measurement requirements and test systems needed for product verification.
- Analyze data and contribute technical reports to support design optimization.
- Plan sample builds according to the sampling plan and ensure compliance with delivery requirements.
- Communicate technical status and identify technical gaps.
- Produce technical documentation to support knowledge retention and development.
- Stay updated on new technologies and techniques.
- Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams (e.g., Chip Design, Test Development, Wafer Fabrication, etc.) across multiple sites.
- Planning and execution of device evaluations.
- Quality assurance of test data and analytical results.
- Participate in development of test environments and measurement equipment.
- Documentation and reporting of evaluation outcomes.
- Support technical decision-making through objective comparisons of alternatives.
- Team competence development and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements.
Education & Experience
PHD, or Master and minimum 5 years of professional experience in optoelectronic, semiconductor, electrical engineering or engineering physics.
Skills
- General knowledge in the fields of optoelectronic or semiconductor devices and technology, Test and Measurements (T&M) and test automation.
- Good understanding of T&M with application to optoelectronic or semiconductor devices
- Solid background in physics of semiconductors or optoelectronic devices
- Expertise in specific areas in the field of optoelectronic devices and technology
- Hands-on experience in Opto or RF test lab environment
- Opto-electronic / electronic device characterization
- Test development, lab hardware, test automation for semiconductor device characterization and data acquisition
- Data analysis, statistical analysis and design of experiments
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
