Primary Duties & Responsibilities

1. Assist the QA Manager in overseeing QA gates to ensure only quality products are delivered to customers.
2. Ensure a steady flow of materials necessary for operating the manufacturing line.
3. Support the implementation of the factory’s Quality System.
4. Arrange manpower to plan and conduct testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
5. Analyze the weekly expediting report and prepare a critical list for distribution to all quality engineers and managers.
6. Maintain and organize all quality records for future reference.
7. Liaise closely with the production team regarding product quality issues.
8. Ensure inspection and test methods are properly executed and effective in detecting defective products.
9. Assist in analyzing QA-related problems.

Education & Experience

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar capacity.
• Experience in a fiber optic transceiver manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
• Special knowledge: ISO standards, QA principles, and QC inspection.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
• Strong data analytical skills with a hands-on working attitude.
• Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes in business needs.
• Ability to work in a 3-shift rotation schedule.
