Primary Duties & Responsibilities

 

• Performs a wide variety of optical, electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, or measurement product assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Determines and or follows methods and sequences of operations in performing wiring, component cleaning & installation, hand soldering, and fitting on assembly units.
• Perform mechanical and optical alignment for laser tuning.
• Conduct product performance testing such as functional, leakage, laser performance, and other related testing processes.
• Conduct electrical testing / trouble shooting.
• Recommend a process improvement plan

Education & Experience

• Possess at least a Diploma in Engineering or its equivalents with 2 years or more relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Possess experience in troubleshooting automation machines and can read electrical drawings/schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical orders.
• Follow, comply, and ensure good housekeeping and safety in the factory.
• Experience working with a microscope is an added advantage
• Experience working on optical and laser-related products is an added advantage
• Are open to work beyond working hours when the production volume is high
