Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs a wide variety of optical, electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, or measurement product assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
- Determines and or follows methods and sequences of operations in performing wiring, component cleaning & installation, hand soldering, and fitting on assembly units.
- Perform mechanical and optical alignment for laser tuning.
- Conduct product performance testing such as functional, leakage, laser performance, and other related testing processes.
- Conduct electrical testing / trouble shooting.
- Recommend a process improvement plan
Education & Experience
- Possess at least a Diploma in Engineering or its equivalents with 2 years or more relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Possess experience in troubleshooting automation machines and can read electrical drawings/schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical orders.
- Follow, comply, and ensure good housekeeping and safety in the factory.
- Experience working with a microscope is an added advantage
- Experience working on optical and laser-related products is an added advantage
- Are open to work beyond working hours when the production volume is high
