JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Prevent ESD events in the factory that can have serious detrimental effects on the products.
2. Understand ESD phenomenon and requirement.
3. Work closely with product/process engineer to understand the new product ESD station setup requirement.
4. Buyoff new manufacturing lines in terms of ESD requirement. Buyoff new material/tools/burden items used in the manufacturing which must be ESD compliance material.
5. Monitoring monthly and quarterly ESD compliance verification results in production floor.
6. Drive closure on all ESD non-compliance issue.
7. Authorized to escalate any equipment, material or machine if any does not fulfil ESD requirement.
8. Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time. Derive Continual Improvement.
9. Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task.
10. Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Candidate must possess at least a diploma in Engineering – Electronic, Electrical or equivalent.
2. Relevant working experience in Electrostatic Discharge ESD will be in advantage.
3. Experience working with fiber-optic/laser products.

Working Conditions:

• This role is 100% onsite (Ipoh) and may require supporting Penang.
