This is a unique opportunity to join our rapidly growing Clinical Intelligence team, where you’ll work on building impactful healthcare technologies that streamline and optimize the prior authorization process using AI/ML and Advanced Rules Engines.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Contribute to the functional &amp; technical roadmap for the team, working alongside cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact deterministic rules-based and AI-driven healthcare automation solutions.</li> <li>Actively support the technical design process, bringing your expertise and analysis to help make data-driven decisions</li> <li>Continuously discover, understand, and implement new technologies &amp; services to maximize development efficiency</li> <li>Contribute heavily to feature design, development, testing, and delivery of our cloud platform and web applications</li> <li>Support all parts of our platform from the database to the frontend</li> <li>Drive daily engineering release once 2-4 times a month</li> <li>Perform production support duties 1-2 times a year.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you’ll need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, software engineering, or equivalent experience in the field.</li> <li>Minimum of 3 years of <em>full time</em> experience in software development lifecycle, required</li> <li>Proficiency with Java/Groovy or Python</li> <li>Experience building applications using React and Javascript.</li> <li>Familiarity with cloud development AWS/Azure</li> <li>Hands on experience leveraging test frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, Mocha, JUnit, or Cucumber is a plus, but not required</li> <li>Experience using relational (MySql, Postgres) and NoSQL (Dynamo, Elastic, Mongo) datastores along with data access patterns and strategies.</li> <li>Ability to demonstrate a high level of ownership for the entire SDLC, including designing, building, testing, deploying and supporting production services in a fast-paced environment.&nbsp;</li> <li>Be self-starter requiring minimal direction with ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities and requirements</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Pay &amp; Perks:</strong></p> <p>💻 Fully remote opportunity with about 5% travel</p> <p>🩺 Medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and Employee Assistance Program&nbsp;</p> <p>📈 401K retirement plan with company match; flexible spending and health savings account&nbsp;</p> <p>🏝️ Up to 184 hours (23 days) of PTO per year + company holidays</p> <p>👶 Up to 14 weeks of paid parental leave&nbsp;</p> <p>🐶 Pet insurance &nbsp;</p> <p>The salary range for this position is $105,000 to $125,000 annually; as part of a total benefits package which includes health insurance, 401k and bonus. In accordance with state applicable laws, Cohere is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
