Title: Service Line Sales Leader – CIS BFSI
About the role
Service Line Sales Leader – CIS BFSI is a leadership role responsible for revenue and TCV targets for the CIS service line in BFSI for the NA BFSI market and new logos that may be assigned as needed. This will be achieved through building client relationships and becoming their trusted partners. Internally, this role would require close collaboration with Client partners , CRMs, pre-sales, offerings and Delivery teams.
In this role you will:
· Responsible for business growth and pipeline generation in partnership with the sales leader
· Develop annual business plans and Go-to-Market Strategy for assigned portfolio
· Review Cognizant’s response to client’s RFP, RFI, RFS and other solution documents to ensure alignment to winning strategy for the opportunity
· Achieve and deliver sales revenue as per quarterly and yearly assigned goals
· Keep sense of customer satisfaction with Cognizant’s delivery at ongoing relationships and highlight or escalate customer feedback as required to ensure smooth engagement delivery and complete customer satisfaction
· Responsible for sales enablement within sales account teams
· Partners with account teams to identify, solution and close opportunities within the account base
· Responsible for Training and Educating Vertical and other Horizontal Sales team on Cognizant cloud Portfolio
· Responsible for driving solutions for managed services opportunities collaborating with offshore based teams
· Responsible for articulating the cloud solution and value proposition to client stakeholders, as part of large managed services / IT outsourcing engagements
· Responsible for engaging in proactive conversations with cloud stakeholders on current trends, client’s landscape and enable solutions to address cloud challenges.
· Works collaboratively with other Cognizant practices and geographic regions to ensure that Cognizant continues to operate effectively as one firm.
What you need to have to be considered:
· Minimum 10+ years of Sales Experience focused on Selling CIS Solutions
· Previous experience in account management with P&L responsibility of $10 Million+ with consistent track record of securing YoY growth
· Exceptional client management skills and experience with strong management experience, excellent communication skills, stakeholder management

· Being able to work with client CIO and Infrastructure/ Security teams to drive their infrastructure strategy
· Consistent record of growing a business successfully over the years through strong client relationships and a deep understanding of the BFSI market

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office. Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $171,000 - $260,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
