Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced data models using Power BI Report Builder to support strategic decision-making in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualization solutions using MS Power BI.
• Utilize MS Power Automate to streamline data workflows ensuring seamless integration and automation of business processes.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards in Power BI Service providing real-time insights to enhance operational efficiency.
• Analyze complex datasets using MS Excel to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
• Leverage SQL expertise to optimize database performance and ensure data integrity across all platforms.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business objectives driving impactful outcomes.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in data management and reporting.
• Contribute to the development of sustainable energy solutions by leveraging data insights to optimize resource allocation.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance team capabilities in data analytics and visualization.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate proficiency in Power BI Report Builder MS Power Automate Power BI Service and MS Power BI for effective data visualization and automation.
• Exhibit strong analytical skills with expertise in MS Excel and SQL for comprehensive data analysis and reporting.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of the Oil and Gas domain understanding industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
• Showcase ability to work in a hybrid model balancing remote and in-office collaboration effectively.
• Display excellent communication skills to articulate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving ensuring timely and effective resolution of data-related issues.
• Commit to continuous improvement and innovation in data strategies to support the companys growth and sustainability goals.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Application will be accepted until January 23, 2026

The annual salary for this position is between $81,000- $115,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
