Portfolio Delivery Leader - Senior Director

Location: New Jersey/East Coast preferred - travel as required

Role: Cloud, Infrastructure Services (CIS) Practice - Portfolio delivery leader accountable for $100Mn+ portfolio life sciences accounts; accountable for P&L, Delivery and AI Transformation. Primary interface for the Clients, business unit and markets teams for CIS services. Manages & Owns end to end delivery management, delivery excellence, quality, cost and client engagement.

Responsibilities:

1. Brings Client context from close delivery experience, Lead delivery set-up governance & Works closely with MCU/MDU and delivery teams across other SLs
2.  Owns delivery management and delivery excellence by leading the design and customer requirements gathering, validation and optimization
3. Responsible to set-up delivery and governance rigor and reviews operational metrics, assess risk and drive mitigation plans, review SoW / work orders
4. Consults EDP at respective situations to better address delivery issues, and resolves/escalates appropriately and ensures monthly submission of C-Margin forecasts
5. Focuses on technology expertise and innovation to transform delivery and ensure delivery excellence
6. Supports EDP / SBU Head on prospective opportunities as needed
7. As main delivery lead, responsible for monitoring and reporting of delivery commitments to client and ensuring committed Cost-of-Delivery (CoD) to Cognizant leadership
8. Brings understanding of the client environment to identify and qualify add-on and new opportunities
9. Champions adoption of Agentic AI across existing accounts and influences solutions for new pursuits to drive competitiveness using Agentic AI use cases.
10. Experienced in Pricing & Contractual constructs to effectively influence best outcomes for Cognizant
11. Works with various enabling functions and practices to drive service quality compliance and improvement
12. People management, mentoring and grooming second layer, leadership supply chain management.

Qualifications

• Possess extensive experience in delivery management with a proven track record of managing large-scale programs successfully.
• Have a strong understanding of data models and their application in enhancing project outcomes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of regulatory compliance ensuring all projects adhere to industry standards.
• Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills fostering effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
• Show proficiency in advanced project management techniques optimizing resource allocation and productivity.
• Display a commitment to continuous improvement leveraging industry best practices to enhance project delivery processes.

Certifications Required

PMP Certification Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) ITIL Foundation Certification.
