Job Summary

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional software development experience in Java Full Stack Development
• Strong expertise in Java, NodeJS, Kafka, AngularJS, Kubernetes, Azure
• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot preferred) and NodeJS for backend development.
• Hands‑on experience with AngularJS for frontend development.
• Solid understanding of Kafka for messaging, streaming, and event‑driven systems.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes (AKS experience is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services (App Services, AKS, Functions, Storage, DevOps, etc.).
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and cloud‑native design patterns.
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Salary and Other Compensation:

• The annual salary for this position is between $104,000 – $118,500 + Bonus depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. 
  This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
