Job Role: Storage Engineer (File and Block)
location: Newyork,NY
· Utilize scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to automate routine tasks and streamline storage administration processes.
· Maintain comprehensive documentation for storage runbooks, knowledge base articles, and disaster recovery procedures.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
· Deep knowledge of PowerScale’s OneFS, including the Job Engine, cluster administration, CloudPools and security features.
· Experience with Dell ECS for object storage, including S3 protocol, bucket policies, and user management.
· Familiarity with storage networking concepts, including NFS, SMB, and S3 protocols.
· Familiarity with Superna Eyeglass, including Ransomware Defender.
· Familiarity with NetApp AFF/FAS clusters (SnapMirror, Flexclones, FabricPool, etc.) running OnTap 9.12+ is a plus.
· Experience with Dell management tools such as InsightIQ, SCG, and CloudIQ.
· Working knowledge of CloudSoda or Komprise for data analytics and data management.
· Understanding of public cloud storage services (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) and their integration with tools like CloudPools, Komprise and CloudSoda.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
· Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a high-pressure environment.
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills for documentation, team collaboration, and interaction with vendor support.
Job Requirements:
· 5+ years’ experience with medium-to-large storage environments as Storage Administrator.
· Relevant Dell Technologies certifications.
· Experience within a healthcare environment is preferred.

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000- $105,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
