Job Summary
The Autonomous Vehicle Program Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring technical accuracy, operational efficiency, and quality excellence across autonomous vehicle workflows. This position focuses on defining standards, managing quality control processes, and driving continuous improvement through data-driven insights and automation.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design incubation programs, review objectives, align success criteria, and provide functional oversight throughout the pilot journey.
Identify synergies between workflows and recommend guideline or process changes to optimize operations.
Provide insights on policies and guidelines across products and markets.
Support internal teams with policy interpretation and resolve queries related to specific tasks.
Conduct quality checks on transactions, deliver feedback to stakeholders, and participate in calibration sessions to ensure alignment on quality processes.
Perform meta-quality control (meta-QC) on workflows to maintain high standards.
Offer technical support to vendor leads and resolve workflow-related issues promptly.
Minimum Graduate in streams of commerce, geography, management, mathematics, science, computers, or engineering
Familiarity with the autonomous vehicle domain.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
Serve as L3 escalation support for complex mitigation/evaluations
Drive automation and tooling feedback loops for teams
Define test criteria, calibration standards, and evaluation rubrics for global SWQ
Focus on standardization, rapid dissemination, and expert clarification to handle continuous policy flux
Codify tribal knowledge into structured playbooks and scenario libraries
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until February 20th, 2026.
The hourly rate for this position is between $22 – $27 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
