About the Role
We are seeking a skilled BI Developer with strong experience in the banking domain to join our team for the Bank Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and Business Intelligence project. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize BI solutions that transform complex financial data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and maintain Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using OBIEE, Power BI, or other enterprise BI tools.
· Build and enhance reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for various banking functions such as risk, compliance, lending, and customer analytics.
· Write, debug, and optimize complex PL/SQL queries and stored procedures for high-performance data retrieval and transformation.
· Work closely with data engineers, ETL teams, and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
· Apply deep understanding of Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) concepts to design scalable BI architectures.
· Translate business requirements into technical specifications and BI solutions aligned with banking and regulatory reporting needs.
· Ensure data security and compliance with Bank’s data governance and internal policies.
Requirements· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
· Minimum 4 years of experience in BI development, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
· Hands-on experience with OBIEE, Power BI, or similar BI platforms.
· Strong command over SQL, PL/SQL, and data modeling concepts.
· Solid understanding of EDW frameworks, data marts, and data integration.
· Familiarity with OFSAA environments is a plus.
· Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative project environment.
Preferred Qualifications· Experience with banking analytics (credit risk, Basel reporting, ICAAP, etc.).
· Exposure to ETL tools like Informatica or ODI.
