Job Identification
We are looking for a Technician to be a part of our Warehouse team located at Bereke, Kazakhstan.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in ensuring timely supply of fuel, lubricants, spare parts, and maintenance of forklifts and company vehicles.
- Support the timely completion of annual technical inspections for all company vehicles.
- Conduct induction and unscheduled safety/technical briefings for automotive mechanics and fleet operators.
- Monitor and control expenses related to spare parts procurement and vehicle/forklift repairs performed by third-party service providers.
- Ensure continuous improvement and compliance with 5S and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) systems.
- Identify factors affecting repair quality and technology; optimize repair processes based on analysis of time and operational data.
- Apply Project Management methods in daily operational activities.
- Perform cost-effectiveness analysis of spare parts procurement.
- Review warehouse inventory management processes and support Just-in-Time delivery of spare parts.
- Work in SAP: create material requisitions and monitor purchase orders.
- Coordinate with external service providers and control the quality of vehicle and equipment repair services.
- Prepare and maintain schedules for preventive maintenance and servicing of vehicles and forklifts.
- Comply with food safety requirements and promptly inform management about issues related to the Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
- Perform duties of temporarily absent employees in accordance with management instructions.
- Meet assigned performance indicators related to technical inspections and vehicle operability.
Candidate Education
Education & Experience
- Secondary vocational education with at least 3 years of relevant work experience, or
- Secondary education with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in vehicle maintenance or transport operations.
Professional Knowledge & Skills
- Good knowledge of vehicle structure, purpose, design features, and technical/operational characteristics.
- Understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance rules.
- Experience in organizing and monitoring vehicle maintenance and technical inspections.
- Ability to analyze repair processes and optimize maintenance technologies.
- Skills in cost control and cost-effectiveness analysis related to spare parts and maintenance services.
Systems & Tools
- SAP user skills (material requisitions, purchase order review).
- Confident PC user (MS Office or equivalent tools).
Competencies
- Knowledge and practical application of 5S and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) principles.
- Basic understanding of Project Management methods and their application in daily operations.
- Experience working with external service providers and suppliers.
- Understanding of warehouse and inventory management principles (including Just-in-Time supply).
Personal Qualities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high sense of responsibility.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and handle additional responsibilities during employee replacement.
Other Requirements
- Willingness to comply with Food Safety Management System (FSMS) requirements.
- Successful completion of internal interview and qualification assessment.
