About this role

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Training Specialist on a permanent, full-time basis on our Energy Sales & Marketing team.

This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, SK.

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Training Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the development and implementation of training programs that drive our business objectives and support our local co-op retailers.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee the administration, review, and ongoing support of key training initiatives, including centralized sales training, Energy Manager Group Trainings, Training Recommendation Lists, various Energy resources and Energy eLearning, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Serve as a primary stakeholder and subject matter expert for training programs administered by other departments, such as ADVANCE, accelerated ADVANCE, providing relevant recommendations to enhance industry trends and develop new training initiatives.

  • Oversee and enhance the Co-op Fuel Team's operations, communications, training, and marketing initiatives to boost engagement and collaboration, while analyzing performance metrics for continuous improvement.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through data analysis, producing results that measure success and identify continuous improvement opportunities, while updating operational manuals and program guides to maintain consistency across multiple locations.

  • Lead the planning and execution of departmental meetings and training events by researching venues, coordinating logistics, developing agendas, and managing budgets to ensure engaging and effective training experiences.

Who you’ll work with:
The Team: You will provide guidance and leadership to the Energy Marketing Specialist and report into the Senior Manager, Energy Products Marketing. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration and continuous improvements with a focus on driving sales

The Collaborators: You will work closely with FCL and CRS stakeholders including department managers, local co-op committee members, Fuel Team members, zone and other Home Office team members.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Human Resources & Training and:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Education.
  • You have 3-6 years of experience in identification of learning gaps and analysis.
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
