Homestead Co-op is hiring a Full Time Sales Agronomist at our Austin Agro Site location.

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Agro Manager your duties will include but are not limited to; 
 - Develop and implement a customer communication/sales plan including grower & industry meetings, field trials.
 - Deliver on field activities such as scouting, soil testing and field reports to growers. 
 - Communicate the needs of the growers to Manager and Agro Team. 
 - General Health and Safety responsibilities.
 - Continue both personal and professional development. (Class 3, Seed Treatment, Dealer & Operator Licenses, Forklift, WHMIS, TDG etc.)
 - Operate Machinery for yard operations as a team. (Forklift, Skid steer, Conveyor, Tractor)
 Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail and:
 - You have a degree or diploma in agriculture or related field. A Certified Crop Advisor or Manitoba Institute of Agrologists designation is considered an asset.
 - You are registered or eligible for registration with the respective provincial Professional Institute of Agrology.
 - You are able to work both independently and as a member of a highly motivated team.
 - You have excellent customer service skills, communication skills and the ability to problem solve.
 - You are highly motivated.
 - You possess strong interpersonal skills.
 - Must hold a valid Driver’s License.
 - Must be able to work flexible hours and meet the physical demands of the job.
 - You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-orientated and strive to be the best in what you do.
