About this role

What you’ll do:

Working closely with the Farm Hardware Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • To ensure acceptable level of customer service is provided to customers and you have the appropriate attitude to create a positive experience for customers;

  • To come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude;

  • Have a deep understanding of livestock equipment;

  • Have a deep understanding of small and large animal feed, health and mineral;

  • Ability to read feed tests

  • Maintain and grow sales relationships with existing and new clients;

  • Have deep understanding of farm equipment and supplies;

  • Be willing to take training courses from time to time as the need arises;

  • Be familiar with and adhere to Meadow Lake Co-op policies and procedures;

  • Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

You are passionate about a career in Agriculture and:

  • You have valid class 5 driver’s license;

  • Degree or Diploma in Agriculture or Animal Science or related experience will be considered an asset.

  • You are highly motivated;

  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do;

  • You believe in maintaining a respectful and honest work place;

  • Ability to lift 50lbs or more unassisted.
