Job Overview: Reporting to the Director of Retail Operation you’ll be involved in:

  • Working with the Agro store team, plan and direct day-to-day operations

  • Overseeing talent acquisition, engagement, performance management and succession planning for the store

  • Guiding the execution of goals, objectives, policies and procedures for efficient, effective and safe operations 

  • Maintaining our high standards for customer service and ensuring consistent brand aligned customer experience

  • Lead, coach and motivate staff to improve productivity, engagement, and retention

  • Promoting the Four Rivers Co-op Health and Safety Program

  • Ensuring the procedures for the delivery of merchandise and chemical/fertilizer are adhered to

  • Responsible for accurate inventories, complying with proper classification and authorization of invoices

  • Ensuring compliance to all legislative and regulatory requirements as well as organizational and commodity programs and policies

 

What You Bring:

  • Possess a post-secondary education in a related field

  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in Agriculture retail preferably at a leadership level

  • Proven ability to control operational costs, maximize operation efficiencies and improve growth margins

  • Proven ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of 7 employees

  • You hold a valid class 5 or better driver’s license with a clean abstract

  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite of products and ability to learn specialized software quickly

  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do

  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
