About this role

CMS is recruiting a Digital Solutions Design and Adoption Manager to help drive firmwide adoption of Microsoft 365, Copilot, AI‑powered solutions, and other technologies that support modern, efficient ways of working.

About the role

The Digital Solutions Design and Adoption Manager supports the firm’s technology adoption agenda, working across Business Services, Practice Groups, and project teams to help users maximise the value of our digital tools and platforms, such as Microsoft 365, Copilot, AI‑powered solutions, and other firmwide technologies.

You’ll be a champion for modern ways of working. You will partner with teams to understand how they work today, shape adoption strategies, run targeted enablement sessions, support product rollouts, and help embed technology into everyday workflows. You’ll also be responsible for reviewing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and building practical solutions that enhance efficiency, collaboration, and user experience across the firm.

In this role, you can expect to get involved in a variety of work including:

  • Collaborate with teams across the firm to plan and deliver technology adoption initiatives across Microsoft 365, Copilot, AI‑powered tools, and other firmwide platforms.

  • Develop and implement adoption strategies that maximise the impact and business value of digital tools.

  • Lead interactive conversations, coaching sessions, workshops, and peer‑led discussions that help users apply technology in their day‑to‑day work.

  • Build solutions to streamline and enhance workflows using low‑code/no‑code tools such as AI Agents and Power Platform apps (including Power Automate and Power BI).

  • Support product management activities, including roadmap alignment, feature rollouts, and gathering user feedback. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritise initiatives.

  • Act as a trusted advisor across the business, building strong relationships and tailoring adoption approaches to different teams.

  • Monitor adoption metrics and use insights to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Contribute to planning for technology deployment and adoption at firmwide and team levels.

  • Stay up to date with Microsoft 365, Copilot, AI‑powered tools, and emerging technologies.
Demonstrate adaptability, a user‑focused approach, and a commitment to continuous learning.

About you

We will invest in your ongoing training and development to support your professional goals and help you to thrive in your role from day one. Our opportunities are open to all suitably qualified applicants, so to be considered for this role, you must meet the following skills and experience:

  • 5+ years in professional services (ideally legal) in technology adoption, change, enablement, or product management roles.

  • Proven experience leading technology adoption and business change initiatives, including stakeholder engagement at all levels.

  • Understanding and practical use of Microsoft 365, along with basic knowledge of Power Automate, Power BI, and other Power Platform tools.

  • Experience of AI‑powered tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft 365 Copilot, or similar Generate AI technologies.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to create clear, engaging business communications.

  • Curious and passionate about emerging technologies and improving working life for colleagues.

  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with a proactive, positive “can do” attitude.

  • Adaptable to fast‑paced change and ambiguity; able to multitask and prioritise effectively.

  • Autonomous yet collaborative, with strong organisational skills and a user‑focused approach.
