Project Manager/Estimator

We are seeking a disciplined, motivated, and top performing leader with a proven track record of building relationships that matter. This is a role for an experienced and collaborative professional with a strong understanding of electrical construction. The role will involve both sales and project management.

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute project objectives and performance standards that align with corporate policies.
• Lead and oversee all aspects of construction in accordance with the contract requirements.
• Develop relationships and a high level of credibility with internal team members and the clients we serve.
• Develop estimates and proposals for bid opportunities with clients.
• Work with clients on design solutions for DB special projects.
• Provide budgets to customers as required.
• Responsible for generating and managing own book of work with clients.
• Size of projects will range anywhere from $5k to $2mm. Majority will be in the size of $250k to $500k range.
• Will be expected to manage multiple projects of this size with a general revenue of $5mm per year.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical project management experience in public works, federal or private projects with individual contract values > $50k and portfolios > $2mm
• Specific experience with renovations, TI work, replacement of distribution systems, FA Systems, is necessary.        
• Experience in estimating and costing.
• Preferably bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, Business or related fields.
• Must be experienced in the design build delivery method. DBIA accredited professional preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
