What You'll Do

  • Supervise and coach maintenance technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for all plant equipment and facilities.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all maintenance work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and equipment documentation.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues.
  • Recommend equipment upgrades, modifications, or process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and safety programs.  

Education

  • High school diploma or GED required; relevant technical or vocational training preferred. 

What You'll Need

  • Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
  • Leadership and team management skills, including coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance. 
  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.  
  • Experience with automated or computerized manufacturing equipment preferred.  
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
