YOUR ROLE

Directs daily operations and provides leadership for assigned personnel.   Responsible for communicating with Resource Planning, Inventory Management, Quality, and Operations Management to resolve any production issues.  Accountable for assigned areas to ensure we meet or exceed all customer SLA’s as well as Operating plan performance metrics.

This position is available at our Plainfield Airwest facility located at 2301 Reeves Rd Plainfield, IN, 46168

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Accountable for daily workstation assignments of regular and temporary labor
• Achieve performance standards with regards to safety, productivity and quality
• Lead a team of up to 25 fulltime/temporary Outbound associates
• Train, review, and coach associates on department work instructions, processes, procedures, and policies
• Known in the department/group as the “knowledge base” of information
• Responsible for maintaining all defined 5S standards
• Communicates daily with Resource Planning and Operations staff
• Maintains a professional and positive attitude in dealings with co-workers, supervisors, and their departmental personnel at all times
• Actively participate in special department projects

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience in a fast paced, high volume, distribution, or manufacturing warehouse is required. Additional experience is highly desired.  
• MS Office Suite (Word, Excel), interpersonal & conflict resolution skills, basic math skills.
• Knowledge of RF gun and functions associated with WMS
• Pre-employment drug screen required
