Core responsibilities:

  • Design and implementation: Plan, implement, and upgrade Active Directory (AD) infrastructure, including forests, domains, trusts, and replication strategies.
  • Day-to-day administration: Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions; configure and administer Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
  • Security management: Implement security policies, harden AD against vulnerabilities, manage permissions, and ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshooting and support: Act as a point of escalation for technical issues related to AD services, providing third-line support for problems like login and access issues.
  • Automation: Develop scripts, particularly using PowerShell, to automate routine administrative tasks, reporting, and policy enforcement.
  • Integration: Integrate AD with other systems and applications, including cloud services like Azure AD (Entra ID) and identity management solutions, to support single sign-on (SSO) and federated identity.
  • Disaster recovery: Plan and execute disaster recovery procedures for AD services, including regular backups and restores.
  • Monitoring and maintenance: Monitor system performance, apply patches and upgrades to Domain Controllers, and perform regular health checks to ensure system reliability.  
  • Support CEVA’s core infrastructure services – AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Entra ID in multiple tenants, SSO, MFA.
  • Support to ensure a high availability and resilient AD environment
  • Assist in Disaster Recovery tests and patching of the domain controllers on a monthly basis.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining all technical documentation for all operational requirements.
  • Coordinate efforts with technology staff from multi-environment application (application/system/functional) to resolve technical issues.
  • Support infrastructure projects as directed by the Service Owner or Team Leader.
  • Follow established policies and procedures and determine potential enhancements and improvements.
  • Maintain strict compliance with the approved Change Management procedure.
  • Provide support and coverage by participating in the 24hrs x 5days support rotation approved for the team.
  • This includes coverage for gaps in the rotation due to holidays/vacation/ sickness etc.
  • Provide as required any data when requested to ensure correct management reporting or to ensure compliance with our operational standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line managers.
