Position Summary:

The Continuous Improvement Coordinator provides essential administrative and operational support to the Continuous Improvement (CI) team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about lean manufacturing and process improvement. The Coordinator helps capture data, maintain documentation, and support CI activities on the production floor.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist CI team members with data collection during time studies, audits, and process observations.

• Enter and organize data in spreadsheets and databases for analysis and reporting.

• Maintain and update documentation such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials.

• Support the scheduling and coordination of CI events, meetings, and training sessions.

• Help prepare visual management tools such as charts, boards, and signage.

• Participate in floor walks to observe processes and gather feedback from team members.

• Track and communicate progress on improvement initiatives and team suggestions.

• Provide general administrative support including filing, printing, and preparing reports.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or technical coursework preferred.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and interacting with production teams.

• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Previous administrative or coordination experience is a plus, but not required.
