We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Web of Science Research Intelligence team. About You – Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering
• Minimum 1 year exp in Java, Angular, Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, automated build and deployment workflows Ability to debug complex issues, analyze requirements, and provide efficient solutions.
• Familiarity with AWS services, cloud deployment, and infrastructure basics

It Would Be Great If You Also Had

• Experience with Spring Boot and REST API development
• Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with version control systems (GitHub) and code review practices
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted development tools
• Knowledge of API design, REST conventions, and API security

What You'll Be Doing in This Role

• Design and Develop full-stack solutions combining Angular frontend with Java microservices backend, following best practices and architectural standards.
• Leverage AWS Services for cloud deployments, scaling, monitoring, and maintaining infrastructure-as-code best practices.
• Sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Build Microservices that are scalable, maintainable, and fault-tolerant, communicating effectively with other services.
• Use AI Tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate development, improve code quality, and increase productivity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, QA, Product Management, and other teams to deliver integrated solutions
