We’re looking for an Associate Product Owner to join our onCourse Product Team in Jerusalem. onCourse is a new, innovative software product designed to improve the teaching and learning experience in higher education. This is an exceptional opportunity to drive roadmap implementation for a key growth initiative in a new market, with high visibility across the organization. You’ll be part of a tight-knit team of 3, reporting to the Senior Manager of Product Management. About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
2+ years of experience as a product owner, business analyst, or related roles.
2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
It would be great if you also had . . .
Experience in the education and/or education technology sector.
2+ years working with UX principles, technical documentation, and basic software development processes.
Ability to participate in technical discussions and support the team with hands-on problem-solving.
Basic understanding of APIs, data structures, and system integrations.
Exposure to mobile and web application development.
Experience engaging with customers.
What will you be doing in this role?
• Collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements.
• Translating needs into clear user stories, design documents, and product requirements.
• Supporting developers during sprints and ensuring alignment with product goals.
• Conducting user and market research to inform product decisions.
• Partnering with UX designers and documentation teams to ensure user-centered design and accurate product documentation.
About the Team
You’ll be joining a small, agile team of 3, including your manager, working closely with developers, UX designers, data scientists, and stakeholders across the business. The product is complex, and you’ll be involved in creating and refining new processes of collaboration, especially with technical teams and UX. You will be involved in sprint planning and backlog grooming and will play a vital role in bridging business needs with technical execution.
